haaaa...last skali ader idea jugerr nak tuliss aper..since i've never done album review yet..soo, there's 2 albums that i think worth sharing thoughts..

Hehe..i'm not a big fan of nasyid in Malaysia, even i know the message in nasyid songs mostly very good and appealing..but its just, nasyid music in malaysia is so typically nasyid..there's like a genre for nasyid music, which every nasyid music shud sounds like this..but when i heard opick's cahaya hati, i straight away fall in love with it..mainly because it's a da'wah album which not bound to typical nasyid music..it a pop album with pop music..not typical nasyid..and it's indonesian style with strong flavour of indonesia taste..if nasyid groups in Malaysia use love between man and woman as a mean of commercial value, this album is purely LOVE..Love to the Creator..The album brings you to search deep within you something that sometimes missing and even lost..the Love for Creator..The Song Cahaya Hati, is one of my personal favourite, Its like a zikir song with fresh music and hearing to opick's voice really2 'meruntun jiwa'...a very strong feeling is conveyed in each songs..and if u think valentine is about all love, u havent found one yet until u listen this album..you'll feel peace and love...music is universal and is one of the bear medium of da'wah..Opick proved that..good job..suitable with the title, it is an album with songs that lighten up ur soul with good music yet strong message...

Hurmm..Tradisional contemporary, i'll try not to be bias even i'm a fan of siti..hehe..when i first look at the line up of the composers i was like erkkkk..why is that most of them are 'senior composers'..i dont have grudge over them or sumthing but i thought it is more suitable to use young composers to get fresh materials since its aTradisional Comtemporary...but still, who cud have imagine Fauzi Marzuki and Johari Teh would come out with sumething so fresh like Ditaman Teman and Di Kayangan Kita...i was expecting all the songs in the album to come out freshh cause the concept itself suggest freshness, but sadly to say, some of the songs are still typical malay tradisional, i'm not really crazy about the album but some of the songss a re really good despite i don't know why the song Rasa Antara Kita made up to the album cause i dont think its good enough..frankly speaking that's the weakest song in the album..lack of freshhness and originality..perghh selamba jer kritik composer terkemuka negara kan..kehkehkeh..but the album cover and the booklet is phenomenal..talking about the music, i dont think its contemporary when u take a r&b ballad song and u just fuse it with traditional music..its just trying to traditionalize a r&b song which shudnt be done at all..i'm refering to Cinta Ini..it dosent make a song traditional by using traditional arrangement to it..but still some songs are very well produced..vocally..hurm shudnt be argued at all..the only think that is perfect in the album..siti's vocal..that is the Easten Light(Lentera Timur)..haha..there's colours in every song, vocally..and the colours just fit each song's character just purrrfect..haha...i love everything when it comes from siti..haha..it's just that i think it can be much better..but who in the world can hold most of pretigous composers in the country hostaged for 3 days just to write songs for her..hehehe..kudoss to siti..
