Last friday, i went to dublin to participate in Colours and Intervarsities Squash 2009...saper2 yg tatau termasuk aku..colours is mainly games between UCD &Trinity, like rivalry among those two..this year intervarsities crowned the host, UCD as the champion for Men's A and Men's C while Trinity grabbed gold for Men's B..UCC??maybe 2nd runner up for all categories.. hahah..i of kos la participated in Men's C kan..wahaha..league paling sampah..but still i'm happy bout that..kehkeh..
So, we departed from cork as early as 9am on friday because we were informed the match will start at 3pm..but then our match only started at 6.30pm for Men's A & B and Men's C at 9.00pm..duhhh penat jer bagun awal..ceyhsss..i wasnt really happy about goin cause i learned the day before that i'll only be playing subs...dgn hati yg kuciwanyer aku pun pergilah jugakk..but came to shock..i was seeded 5th in Men's c instead of subs..so i have to play the match at 9..i wasnt prepared at all coz i thought i'll be playing subs..the first match was between UCD..hahah...lawan punyer lawan kalah laa.i was beaten 3-0..sampah gilloz kot..haiyyyooo..then the next day the match was supposed to be between ucc and Trinity but they dont have enough players..the same went with RCSI..hampehh toll..since Galway and Belfast didnt sent any team so we left out with DCU..So the game with DCU turned out we beated them 5-0..but still i thought it wasnt a good game at all coz they were really beginner u knoe..so hampehh lagi..so actually it wasn't a good experience at all in term of playing..i dont like the court in UCD at all..it wass quite different..the wall seems very thick and absorbance..it doest bounce the ball good enough for me coz i used to play in mardyke's court..the very reason i lost the game with UCD i think becoz of that la kot(lame giler excuse kan..wahaha)..i cudn't bring the ball to the back of the court..i was playing only like half the court..i'm no good playing drop ball wutsoever..i think it would be better to play at the back of the wall...
Overall, intervarsities was a really good experience..it was so much fun watching those top players in Men's A playing..whoaaa..they were really like pro..they make squash seems so easy..u really gonna have to watch them play..no matter where the ball goes they managed to get it..and every shot they hit was purrfect..perghh..it was jaw-dropping..i was really amazed by the standard of playing shown by Men's A...the best thing about intervarsities is this..watching Men's A players palying...excited giler tgk dorang maen..and this is my very first time watching good players play..so u know..mesti la excited terlebeyhh kan..hahah..and sumer player dlm Men's A nih, they hit the ball kuat giller kot..and it wasnt just one or 2 shot..it was most of the shots...they were really quick and fit...bola pegi celah or ceruk maner pun depa leh amek...perghhh...nak compare aku n depa..ibarat langit n bumi la kot..i don't think i'll be paying up to the standard kot..coz they were playing squash like their whole life kan..start dr kecik..
Another different experience of koss..berlepakan ngan all irish..xpenah lg kot i went anywhere without org melayu kan..it was freaking hard i wud say...dah la aku communication skill hampeyhh sket..i was really quiet..i just keep my mouth shut most of the time..and i'll only talk when someone ask me anything..and the silence is driving me crazy kot...i never been so quiet in my entire life..warghhh tensi giler..bukanlah aku tanak ckp ker aper..but when they talk to each other..mmg aku x leh nk interupt..coz i didnt understand a word the were saying..kalo dorang ckp exclusively with me i can understand them perfectly fine...tp ader la berborak sket2 ngan depa kan...haaaa lagi satu..nih mmg x laratsss...dorang party both nights kot..since we're staying in a big dorm..so biler dorang balek dr pun tuh dorang don minum lg dalam dorg ngan kuatnyer..so tidurku terganggu laa kann..tp wat bodo jer laaa...takkan nak bangun mengamuk sakan plak..but yg beshnyer there's 2 guys who doesnt drink at all..so they were accompanyig me the whole night laa..so rasa lega sket..haha..tp yg peliknyer ader jugak irish x minum kan..hihihi..n dorang bukan lah nerdd ker aper..that 1 guy is UCC Mens captain kot..he ranked 1st in UCC now..so tuh yg aku sukaaa tuh..hahah..in term of semayang pun payah jugakk..naseb la dorang gi party kan..so semayang tyme dorang takder laaa..n siang tuh semayang kt masjid klonski...n subuh of koss dorang x bangun lagi..heheh..makan pun ok la since dublin banayk halal food..mg susah hidup tanpa melayu nih rupernyer..wahaha..tp it was a very good experience though..sehari tanpa melayu..wahaha..next year definitely nk pegi lagi..hopefully i'll be good enough by next year to play in Men's B..hehehe..ader org tuh bg tips kt aku nka jadik gempak..practice practice practice...haiyyooo..berguna btol tips dier..haha
