Shedot's Super Sunday : Movie Review

Hola amigos..wahaha..this wud be the 123rd entry of the blog..wawawaw*clap2*...i've never done a movie review for my super sunday..and so this wud be the one..in the midst of political and ecomonical unstability, its funny that i still hv time to watch movies..haihhh..haha..but both movies of my review today are definitely worth watching cause u'll learn a lot from them...

Slumdog Millionaire...



Synopsis:
Accused of cheating and desperate to prove his innocence, an eighteen-year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai reflects back on his tumultuous life while competing to win 20 million rupees on India's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in Danny Boyle's inspirational drama. Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) may not have a penny to his name, but that could all change in a matter of hours. He's one question away from taking the top prize on India's most popular television game show, but as with everything else in Jamal's life, it isn't going to be easy. Arrested by police under suspicion of cheating, Jamal is interrogated by the authorities. The police simply can't believe that a common "slumdog" could possibly possess the knowledge to get this far in the game, and in order to convince them of how he gained such knowledge, Jamal begins reflecting back on his childhood

Honestly, Slumdog Millionaire(SM) is worth to be crowned Movie of the Year cause it is...may be movie of the decade if not too much..SIMPLY the BEST..bestly genious(adake ayat nih) in every aspect...wahaha..but this one maybe one of the greatest movie i'e seen so far...not equiped with stunningly amazing special effect neither A-Class Hollywood actor, SM is merely a potrayal of reality, of a journey of life of 2 brothers but it contains LIFE...it touched u to the verry deep of ur heart and it gives u courage to face tommorow wuteva might come..SM is a good potrayal of poverty and the real life of a group of people on INDIA..we may be lavishly fed, clothed, housed but in the other part of the world, there might be some the are not as lucky as us..u'll be amazed seeing how 2 innocent kids live their life on their own doing wuteva they can to survive..they lived on the train, if living on the train is not bad enough, they actually lived on the roof of the train..being exploit to collect money on the street for the rich of some useless bastards who cut the hands.legs.eyes and crippled the kid to double or tripple their collection by gaining sympathy of public..it'll bring u to tears how cruel it is...i love the acting skills shown by the kids when they were young..really2 lively, natural and cute..overall i give the movie 4.9/5...*Ovasi Berdiri*...kalo nak ikutkan, mcm2 lagi aku nk tulis tp for the sake of kependekan entry, this wud be enuff..hehehe


The Road to Guantanamo....


Synopsis:
Winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross’ THE ROAD TO GUANTANAMO is the terrifying first-hand account of three British citizens who were held for two years without charges in the American military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Known as the “Tipton Three,” in reference to their home town in Britain, the three were eventually returned to Britain and released, still having had no formal charges ever made against them at any time during their ordeal. Their terrifying first hand account is documented in the June 23rd release THE ROAD TO GUANTANAMO. Part documentary, part dramatization, the film chronicles the sequence of events that led from the trio setting out from Tipton in the British Midlands for a wedding in Pakistan, to their crossing the Afghanistan border just as the U.S. began its bombing campaign, to their eventual capture by the Northern Alliance and their imprisonment in Camp X-Ray and later at Camp Delta in Guantanamo.

This is the very potrayal of stupidity and the madness of America under Bush administration. Guantanamo Bay is the challenge of human right...see it for youself to get an insight how badly u'll be treated is u are happened to plan to have a trip in Guantanamo Camp X-ray...u'll be treated worse than a dog..this is what happens when there's no more humanity in people..besides, u'll also see how devastated is the state of war...war is everywhere in part of the world, Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, Georgia but they all have the same effect...the worse of the worse someone cud have wish for..u'll see how lifeless Afghanistan is after being bombarded with bombs..u'll see how inhumane people being held captivated...you'll learn to view life differently and you'll learn to appreaciare what you have now more than never..not to forgets, it'll lighten up the jihad spirit deep down in you..not just spark or dim light, i'll be fiercely BURNING..after what happened in GAZA, we have to wake up..wake up and look what kind of madness is happening..it is worth watching and this is the kind of film that Islamic countries shud be making, to show we are not the one who's supposed to be labelled terrorist, but Israel and America deserve the crown mush better and they'll fit the title perfectly just fine..4/5..
