Renungan: Hukuman meninggalkan solat

Shedot Super Sunday : Rock, Pop & Nasyid

Music is universal, and some might say, there is no such thing as bad music cause music is a subjective interpretation of soul, feeling and life..but there is always a good and bad lyrics..a song is a package of melody, lyrics and music arrangement, so if one of them is bad definitely the whole song is seems to be bad...
In my Point of view, there is no such thing as good Nasyid songs and bad rock songs cause everything is depend on how the song will give the impact on listeners..If a song ever give an impact on listener then definitely it is a great song indeed..
In the era of hedonisme, what kind of song do we choose then??
For me, in choosing songs to listen to, it is not a matter of what type of music do you hear but rather what kind of Lyrics portrayed in the song...Some of us labelled rock music as the interpretation of rebellion, evil and bad and yet Nasyid song as the interpretation of islamic, divine and good....and Many rock songs indeed is very good in delivering message of humanity, principal, belief and motivation...
If u are a nasyid fan then there u go, alot of various options for u to choose and listen to cause most of nasyid songs indeed contains good message...but if you are not a fan of nasyid then what is it u are supposed to do??For me, then u gonna have to start the concept of choose and pick..choose the music that delivers good message and pick it and listen to it regardless what type of music it is..Every soul is attracted to different type of music genre, but every soul should understand that they need to be entertained with entertainment that building the soul, relieving it and strengthen it..dont just listen to songs with lots of faulty languages cause it dosent bring any good to ur soul indeed it lead u far away from what is good.
Nur Syahadah (Acapella Version) - Far East
We might think, if we are to choose songs with good lyrics then there is not so many option for us..but the truth is there is a lot of options lie in front of you and indeed it is only the matter of choose and pick..We are nowadays been given enourmous love songs which for me the message is just the same..'broken hearted, falling in love, quarell'..is that all that we can listen to??
There a quite a number of rock songs which are good..i love some of Good Charlotte songs like Hold On(personal Fevret) and We believe...and i love Avenged Sevenfold's Dear God not only because of the melody but i like the lyric as well..and some of Dewa's songs a great indeed..
Hold On - Good Charlotte
Tuhan Lindungilah - Opick
If u are a fan of pop then dont ever say u dont have option cause a lot lot lot of songs a very good indeed...if in Malaysia we have Nasyid, in Indonesia they dont have Nasyid thus, the pop singers themselves make the effort in making songs with good message, like UNGU (having 3 Spiritual albums)Opick, and others mgiht not have full album but the sang songs with good message like Rossa, Afgan, Marshanda, Acha Septriasa & Irwansyah. But in Malasyia sadly we dont have lots of pop singers doing that..Besides, not only songs with spriritual message, we also lack songs with motivational values..the Hollywood, they are really good at thiss..there are so many songs from hollywood with good motivational songs wether the old or the new ones..
AFGAN -PADAMU KU BERSUJUD.mp3 -
Hero - X Factor Finalists 2008
Even if u are a fan of hip hop music or Indie bands, i'm sure there are a lot of options for u to choose..it is just a matter of u wanting it or not..in the world of hedonisme by ISRAEL and Hollywood, we dont have much option..we gonna have to pick and choose, to stop hedonisme and limit the damage caused by it..so i'm calling all music listeners like me to LISTEN TO GOOD MUSIC WITH GOOD MESSAGE..so choose and pick everyone..adiosss..

Squash Munster League
I thought St. Finbarr's team would be more or less student or younger people..when the first person appear, i didn't know he'll be playing cause i thought he's old enuff to play squash..then when everybody came then i realized that their first to fourth players are somewhere near 40-50 years old..or may be even older than that..but i didn't feel like ohh..its gonna be easy to beat old people..cause i'm aware the older u are the better ur skill would be..but maybe i could gain advantage of fitness aspect..i thought we cud beat them since we are young, fit and square(tetiba)..haha..
Unfortunately, all 5 of us were beaten badly...i mean really bad..all 5 of us were beaten 0-3..we didnt manage to win even a single set out of 5 sets...so the result goes 5-0 to St. Finbarr with a clean(really clean) win..they swept us with nothing to be proud of to bring home...Luckly for me, i played with someone younger, maybe early 30 y/o..so i didnt feel as bad as others who were beaten badly by 50 y/o uncles..their skill definitely surpass us and their fitness is not bad at all..they played like a young boy, maybe even better..they can move all over the court without breathlessness or any sort of health problem..
i'm really impressed actually..it means that they don't just sit around at home gardening, but they did involve in sport activities and they are fit like a horse..Kudoss to those uncles...see u again next year..
