Anaesthetic 3 : My Consultant Got Annoyed~~

hahaha..hari nih kan, consultant anaesthetic saya merasa annoyying dgn jawapan2 bodoh yg saya berikan..huhu..dia tanya soalan yg mcm2 and i cannot answer..dah laa arinih sorang2 x der partner..lg lah kener cap ayam ngan consultant tuh..soklan paling mencabar..'what is the basic mechanism of heat loss??'..i was like..tetttttt..dia ckp..'c'mon, its basic physics'...nk jer ckp the last time i learnt physic was like 5 years ago..hahaha..but that's not an excuse laa kan..aku terkial2 laa nk jawab..baper kali ntah dia ulang ayat..'it's basic physic' tuh..i really dont know the answer..all i know if two medium of different temperature, so heat will move from the hot to cold one..but i dont know the term of conduction..so la yg bg jawapan setelah letih menunggu jawapan aku..jawapannya adalah conduction. convexion and radiation...hahaha..

there was 2 times when he told me, your answer is really wrong (read : really stupid maybe)...haha..boleh ker aku ckp air cannot diffuse to all part of body..mmg buduhsss..of kos air masuk suma tempat kot..wawawawawa..dia cuma nk ckp how do we maintain patient body temperature in surgery because they are giving iv fluids which is cold..aku ckp bg drugs laa, mcm2 laa..mmg buduhs nyer jawapan..senang jer jawapan dia..they heat the iv fluids before it enters the body..cettt..pastuh dia tanya pulak mechanisn machine ventilatory tuh..how do we prevent heat lost from respiration..aku mcm tetttttt...hahaha..

seriously i did give him stupid2 answer...at one point tuh, dia ulang soalan yg sama like 5@6 times kot tp i cudnt answer..and by the 5th time tuh dia mmg wat muka and gaya bengang and annoyed..aku dalam hati serious nk tergelak ngan perangai dia..haha..tp still rasa stupid..i just don't know what kind of answer he wants..

mcm dia suruh aku feel the saline solution, and i felt like some kind of vibartion..so aku ckp laa vibration..then dier wat muka menyampah..then aku pikir balek..owhh feel..maybe dia nak temperature..so i said cold and BINGO..see what i mean..i just don't know what kind of answer he really expect..

ada satu soalan tuh dia tanya.."why do we give iv fluids instead of water?give me one word to describe iv fluids"?..aku mcm ckp laa hydration(cause that's the purpose of iv fluids anyway..so i thought that is that ONE word he's asking)..and he asked again why not water??..i gave one stupid answer..because water cannot move to all part of the body..and he was like...tuuttt kamu pelajar...hahaha...and so he said, that's is really a wrong answer, why do u said that???hahaha...aku terasa sgt bodoh at that moment..so i gave another answer, because water don't have electrolyte..so to maintain electrolyte balance..tp dia x puas hati jugak ngan jawapan aku..and tanya lg..then aku ckp to maintain osmolarity..and dia ckp so...??what would you call that..??aku dok diam pikir n xder jawapan..last2 dia jawab..iv fluids are ISOTONIC....adeyhhhsss...

ada satu soalan yg dia tanya banyak kali tuh, "why do we provide heat to the patient, what is the opposite of it?"..aku ckp laa to prevent hypothermia..dia ulang soalan sampai 5 kali...and really he got annoyed at one point..jawapannya sgt mudah..to prevent heat loss.. and i was like..gerammmmmmmm...yg tuh dia nak the obvious thing pulak..

sbb before2 that bila dia tanya, i give obvious answer, and he said it's an obvious thing..pastuh dia tanya camtuh and nak jawapanya yg obvious..arghh x pahamnyer..naseb dia consultant..kalo x...haihhhh...when i said i don't know he said c'mon give a guess..and when i guess and give stupid answer dia marah..

maybe he expects 3rd med to be more knowledgable laa kan..it's really my fault pun..dia x tanya mcm consultant lain selalu tanya..mcm mechanism of drugns, physiology and suma..dia tanya more like physics and machine's mechanism..aku mmg ZERO laa bab2 tuh..physic was my least pebret subject in high school..so i intentionally erase almost all physic knowledge..hahaha..before the surgery, i checked on the drugs that they prepared and refered to BNF to know what they are for..just in case he might asked about drugs..but x mention about drugs langsung..

x leh pun nk tgk surgery arinih, sbb dok kener bombard with questions..malu pun ada..aku rasa nurse2 tuh suma dgr jer jawapan2 bodoh aku..dah laa ada classmates juga yg wat cardiovascular..lg laa malu kene marah and got annoyed by consultant tuh..sy memang seorang yg annoying..tp sampai skang aku rasa klaka ngan consultant tuh..rasa nk gelak jer tiap masa..hahaha..
